Hussif: A small case or pouch for needles and thread, and other small sewing items. The length of fabric divided into pockets, that may be rolled up when not in use. The term hussif (also known as huswife/hussive) first appeared in the Oxford English Dictionary in 1749 although the term has been in use since the 17th century.
